Spacious, secluded lodge. Modern and clean. Thoughtful extras provided - milk, toothpaste, fresh eggs. Great outdoor area for games. Friendly and helpful host. Convenient location near Sundown adventure park. Comfy beds. Amazing pub nearby.

    Nothing, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this lodge. the accommodation was just what we were looking for - cozy and secluded. the lodge was surprisingly spacious, with a lovely communal area for us to relax in. the host was extremely friendly and helpful, offering us a late checkout for the wedding we were attending. They even provided little extras like spare toothbrushes and toothpaste, which was a great convenience. the lodge was well-equipped with everything we needed, including an iron for our clothes.

The bedrooms were a bit on the smaller side, but this was not a major issue as the communal area more than made up for it. the entrance to the lodge was a bit hard to find, especially at night.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at Ruddingwood Lodge. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The location was peaceful and secluded, with a lovely field nearby for outdoor games. The staff, especially Victoria, were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

This place was absolutely amazing! The location was mind-blowing with a huge field for the kids to play in and a box full of outdoor toys provided. The living area was super spacious and even had a dishwasher. Everything we needed was provided and the place was spotlessly clean. It was just a short drive from a fantastic adventure park. The host was incredibly helpful and the communication was top-notch. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful horses were a jaw-dropping sight. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place. Also, the nearby Tuxford Spice had an excellent curry! Plus, free parking, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV. No smoking was allowed on site.

The nearest airport is conveniently located at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, making my journey a breeze. The lodge is surrounded by a lovely garden, providing a tranquil setting. Towels were included, meaning I didn't have to worry about packing extra.

Oh, the lack of WiFi, what a joy!

Garden Views: The peaceful garden views from our accommodation were absolutely delightful. It felt like being in our very own oasis, surrounded by nature's vibrant hues. It was like having a Monet painting right outside our window.

Easy to Miss Entrance: The entrance to the hotel could be better marked at night.

My recent stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for our needs and the facilities were top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised to find milk in the fridge, which was a lifesaver as we had forgotten to bring any. The lodge also provided tea, coffee, biscuits, and other extras, which was a lovely touch. On a hot day, the beer in the fridge was a refreshing surprise! The communal area more than made up for the slightly small bedrooms. I had a fantastic break and can't wait to come back soon! If you're looking for a great place to stay, I highly recommend Ruddingwood Lodge!

We had a wonderful stay at a perfect lodge! Ruddingwood Lodge was exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind during our visit to the area. the lodge itself was surprisingly spacious and secluded, with a lovely outside space to enjoy the great view. As a bird lover, I was thrilled to spot such a variety of birds around the lodge. Tuxford, the village where the lodge is located, is absolutely charming and it's also easy to explore other nearby places. We were delighted to find welcome treats left by Victoria, which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again if available. Cons: Liked everything! ❤️.
